The concept of driving around the city is complicated since the game renders the driving in all three dimensions, as it’s put in-game, “this city goes down a hundred miles and up a thousand.” That backdrop of having to drive in such a chaotic environment is backstopped by a mystery and tons of chaos, it’s a ton of fun. The player is in the role of a sky driver that’s locked into some very strange happenings, all as they simply float around the futuristic city. So just what is Cloudpunk?
